Thank you Lord! (Testimony)

We felt it very strongly. I am sure God wanted us to learn His supernatural way of dealing with us. Our family wants to thank God for this lesson. I think I cannot just remain silent without sharing this incident with you all! This should get a first place in 2016.

We as a family went to be with a group of friends in Chitwan during the Christmas time. God gave me an opportunity to minister from His word. I was praying and asking the Lord for the message. Finally God showed me a clear hint that I should devout more on the life and the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. No one could replace him and if we really want to learn about the Mission, I think we all need to go back to the Bible and see how Jesus had ministered to the people while He was on the earth. And we can check where we are at the moment? What are the gaps that we see in between of his ways and our ways of doing God's work!

Something I want to highlight about the sharing!
1.    Nazareth manifesto that we see in Luke 4:18-19 talks about the Mission that he was involved in.  How God cares people? What it means by poverty? Isn't it sad that we often neglect the important part of Mission, while defining the poverty? God looks at our heart and He still wants us to be corrected it with the help of the Cross. The cross is the answer of all problems.  How can we have recovery from sickness, tragedy, injustices without preaching the word of God! A lamp to my feet and a light to my path! The word from above can penetrate all our barriers. If the heart is healed in Christ, I am sure that all other symptoms will try to work it out gradually.

2.   What empowers the mission? Philippi 2:5-11 talks about his empowerment. He was empowered by his humility and this is something we need to learn. We are at the service of His Kingdom. Remember, we are at God's work, not our own work. This is not my kingdom but His kingdom come! His will be done! What we see in Philippians 2 is that the Christ being the Lord of heaven and earth came down to live among us so that he could be identified with us. A sense of humility exalted him up. I think it is very important for us to 'humble' in the presence of Almighty King while doing the mission. Lord, let you alone be exalted.

3.    We are at the spiritual warfare. Our fight is not against the flesh and blood but against the power of the principalities and darkness. Acts1:8 reminds us that who is our strength. Are we getting empowered by him? Where do we seek our strength?  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

Along with the main talks I tried to look at the zeal of Moravians and missional passion of 1728. How those Moravian refugees could come together on the month of August 1727 and dipped themselves in the power of Holy Spirit. No prides, no fighting, no division but one thing that burned their heart: The kingdom of God. How can we have peace when the Holy Spirit burns our heart about the lost city?

Having those in the heart, we headed to Kathmandu. We met some of our friends and walked from Thamel to Thapathali. The distance in between Thamel and Thapathali is 4kms. We were surprised at Susanna. She walked all the way from Thamel to Thapathali, lifting her hands up and praising God. She continuously sang hymns and did not even bother about the people. We let her to walk on her way and watched her from a distance. Side-walkers used to look at her and get surprised what this tiny baby was doing! Things went well until it was 2am in the night. Susanna became very ill at 2am and started to vomit continually. In the morning, diarrhea troubled her badly. We spent some time in prayer and asked God to take control the situation. She slept for about an hour. When she woke up, she was normal and okay.

On the following night, Thiru had very clear dream and she heard a strong voice that the Devil is not at all happy what Susana was doing  on the previous day. She told me that let us pray for the city. Psalm 8:2 rang at our ears-" Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger."  Psalm 8:2.

God heal the city!
