I borrowed my
title from the “Show Case” paper published by National Book Trust, India. New
Delhi World Book Fair 2013 opened on 4th Feb, 2013. The theme of the
fair is “Indigenous Voices: Mapping India’s Folk and Literature,” where the multifarious
expressions of Indian’s traditional native cultures including exhibit of books, traditional arts and crafts, panel discussions will be showcased.
Well, I must zip myself up and let you to explore more. Grab this grand opportunity! You will never regret visiting Delhi.
I was delighted
and excited when I heard the news that New Delhi is organizing the book fair in 2013. Coincidentally,
I had to travel to New Delhi in between the dates. You know it’s good to visit
book fair with those brains who are passionate about reading. This would
help you in discerning and selecting the worth-reading books. However, a budget matters a
lot in such trips. I would say, even if you do not have budget for the fair,
please do not forget to grab such an opportunity. There would be a chance to visit
different writers and, listen them in different panel discussion. It’s a free
of cost. You all had to pay is about the entry fee, which was just 20.00. Imagine,
how much more you would be enriched!
Well, Every Nepali
would be delighted when he/she sees the home country exhibiting the books. I
could interact with the guys from National Booksellers and Publisher Association
of Nepal. Moreover, I saw couple of books from my guide Dr. Inchely in the book shelves . Wah! In
fact I could not buy the book from M.L. Tickoo which I wanted to get hold of it.
I was asked to place an order.
Question: What is the difference between POD and BOD?
Answer: POD is a general term used for printing a book or any print job while BOD just refers to printing of 'books' on demand specifically.
That's all from New Delhi.
