New Pathway!! नया गोरेटो !!

As a part of the week end ministry, we are trying to reach out the small part of Pune where Nepalis have been residing. We, students hardly get time to visit Nepalis in city. We prayed and came up with this idea to start a literacy program. We found many Nepali mothers who attend service, can't even read the Bible. we arranged a meeting with local pastor and came up with this plan. It is a huge task to be done among migrants community. Sometime I wonder that migrants community is such a vast field where few workers are being found. We extend our heart filled thanks to The RESCUE NEPAL who raised their support by supplying the teaching materials. No matter how difficult it is we decided to carry on short term Literacy program for the migrants people. In fact we have some limitations as we don't have any resources other than some people who has promised to pay the teacher's fee. the most embracing moment came to us when we asked some friends for the help of Chatai( mats ) for the nepali church ( as I found some believers sitting on the cement floor during worship service). friends forwarded me not to teach the believers this attitude of “ASKING”. I really don't want you to feel that I am asking from you. Not really and not at all! Believers are happy and content to sit on cement floor and worship !! This was my concern only. I do believe that children needs support when children grow up then they can look after themselves. This is what a Church is all about. Recently we have enrolled seven mothers in class which runs 5 days in a week. Saturday has been separated as “Bhala-Kusari” where mothers would come to gather to share their problems and pray for each other. Pastor Daniel subba is supervising over this training programme. Sister Martha will be facilitating this program in her house. I think it is a lesson to learn for all of us. Let us share with others in whatever capacity we can do it. This program will be concluded in mid of January. बाडचुडको गरी जीयको जीवन पर्मेश्वरको हेराईमा कती मनोहर हुनछ !
